I filed bankruptcy…?
I am about to take a state licensing exam, and for some pathetic reason I need to provide proof that I filed and that all debt has been discharged. I have no CLUE how to get this – do I request it from the court? Can I get it online? (it IS public record isn’t it?) My a$#@*hole attorney isnt returning my calls so Im on my own. Someone please help!
Go back to Bankruptcy court that you filed in; bring copy of your case number/caption and request copy of discharge. The court clerk can give you a certified copy of the document, even if you can’t find your copy.
